Once you are login, you can submit an abstract from March 1, 2017 to July 31, 2017 and register from April 16, 2017 to August 18, 2017

The registration to the IPFC Conference is mandatory to be enabled to attend the Sessions and the Conference events (Welcome Party, Lunches, Coffee Breaks, and Tahitian Gala Dinner). Paid registration is also mandatory to have the accepted paper included in the published Conference Proceedings. To this end, it is mandatory to complete the registration process by the firm deadline of August 18, 2017. All participants must pay the appropriate registration fee (co-authors on your abstract do not need to register unless they plan to participate in the meeting).

1For regular registration, the welcome party and the gala dinner are included in the fees. On Monday morning, the welcome party will be held at the Maison de la Culture, with the marquesan dance group Taki Toa. On Thursday night, a delicious buffet of Polynesian specialities will be served at the Te Tiare restaurant of The InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa. Meanwhile a dance show will be performed by Hei Tahiti dance group (see more information HERE).

2The conference bag includes = One of the two following books : Guides des Poissons de Tahiti et ses îles (Fishes of French Polynesia Islands) OR Fishes of the Indian Ocean and Red Sea / IPFC Program & Abstract book / Badge holder / Free drink on Sunday evening (see schedule on the IPFC website).

Method of Payment

All fees must be paid at the time of registration. Payment will be made by credit card (VISA or Master Card only) on the registration website. No payment will be done on site.

Confirmation of Registration

You will receive confirmation of registration via Email from PayZen by OSB once your registration has been processed. If you registered and do not receive a confirmation please contact David Lecchini.


All participants and accompanying persons are advised to procure their own travel insurance, as the Organizing Committee will assume no responsibility for personal accidents, sickness, and theft or property damage.

Notes (read carefully)

1/ The selection of abstracts will be as follow :

* The call for abstract is open until July 31, 2017. Only the participants who submit an abstract and register before July 31th will be allowed to present their research (oral presentation, poster or flash talk) at the IPFC. Participants who register after July 31th will be allowed to attend the conference, but will not be given the opportunity to present their research.

* The scientific committee of IPFC and the leaders of IPFC sessions will select the participants that will do an oral presentation OR a poster/flash talk between August 7 and 16, 2017.

* The chairman will announce the results to each participant by email on August 19-20, 2017. If a participant did not receive an email from the chairman on August 21, he has to send an email to the Chairman (

* Until the 25 August 2017, the participant could cancel his registration and his abstract (for cancellation policy click here).

2/ For each Accepted Paper, one author must register, pay the registration fee, and personally present the paper in the conference.

3/ Regular fee includes the welcome reception, all conference lunches and coffee breaks, and Tahitian Gala Dinner.

4/ One or two-days registration fee includes the conference lunches and coffee breaks for the selected days.

If the selected day is Monday, the welcome reception is included.

If the selected day is Thursday, the Tahitian Gala dinner is not included.

5/ Master and PhD student, Post-doc under or equal to 32 years old who will attend the conference can register and pay the “student” registration fee.
